Manufacturing comes first
Quality support that connects to your daily operation.
When the owner, operations manager, or quality manager already has a full workload, ISO 9001 work can become a series of unfinished tasks. Documents need updates, corrective actions need follow-up, and the next audit is approaching.
Sentinel helps organize that work around your actual processes. The focus is practical: who owns the activity, what evidence is needed, and what your team must do next. Effective existing procedures and records remain part of the starting point.
The approach fits small manufacturers, typically with 10 to 100 employees, including machine shops, electronics manufacturers, fabrication shops, and contract manufacturers.
Match the service to the problem
Get help with the work your system actually needs.
Begin with a focused engagement or add ongoing support. You do not need to purchase every service or follow a fixed sequence.
Professional Gap Assessment
You have documents, but you are unsure where the gaps are.
Estimated budget$995 to $1,995 per project
Review the existing system and available evidence before deciding what needs to change. A focused assessment helps separate missing documentation from work that has not yet been implemented.
Agreed outputA documented assessment of observed gaps and prioritized next steps, based on the agreed scope.
You are working toward certification and need a clear plan.
Estimated budget$3,500 to $7,500 per project
Organize implementation priorities, strengthen agreed QMS elements, and prepare the team to demonstrate its work. Readiness support can address internal audit preparation, management review, and corrective action follow-up.
Agreed outputA scoped implementation plan, working materials, and readiness outputs agreed before the engagement begins.
You need consistent QMS support alongside your existing team.
Estimated budget$750 to $1,500 per month
Keep recurring quality work moving through an agreed support cadence. Priorities can include document revisions, action tracking, audit planning, performance measures, and management review preparation.
Agreed outputOngoing support against agreed priorities, with defined availability, responsibilities, and deliverables.
Prices are estimates in USD. Final scope, deliverables, timing, and fees are confirmed in a written proposal.
A clear way to begin
Know what the engagement involves before it starts.
A useful consulting project needs an agreed scope and an internal owner. Here is how the work is organized.
01
Describe the situation
Share what you manufacture, your approximate team size, your current ISO 9001 status, and the result you are working toward. Mention any relevant audit date or customer deadline.
02
Agree on the work
Define the processes to review, information needed, deliverables, responsibilities, delivery method, timing, and price in a written proposal.
03
Work with your process owners
Review agreed records, clarify how work is actually done, and develop the agreed improvements with input from the people responsible for the operation.
04
Leave clear next steps
Review the agreed outputs, identify remaining actions, and establish who owns the follow-up. Add ongoing support only if your team needs it.
Experience you can put to work
Practical manufacturing quality experience behind the advice.
Sentinel’s approach draws on ISO 9001 certification experience, internal and supplier auditing, participation in external audits, document control, calibration, inspection, and corrective action.
That background helps connect a written procedure to the records, responsibilities, and decisions a manufacturing team uses every day.
Do you work with manufacturers in Camarillo and Thousand Oaks?
Yes. Sentinel offers ISO 9001 support to small manufacturers in Camarillo, Thousand Oaks, Oxnard, Ventura, Simi Valley, and the surrounding Ventura County area. Remote support is available, with any onsite work confirmed by agreement.
Can consulting be delivered remotely?
Yes. Document review, template customization, QMS planning, and many review discussions can be handled remotely. The engagement scope determines what evidence and access are needed. Onsite work, travel arrangements, and availability are confirmed in the proposal rather than assumed.
Do you help companies that are already ISO 9001 certified?
Yes. Support can focus on maintaining the existing QMS, preparing for the next audit, following up on corrective actions, improving document control, or organizing management review. A useful existing system does not need to be replaced just to add consulting support.
Do we need to buy a toolkit before requesting consulting?
No. You can request a gap assessment, readiness support, or ongoing QMS support based on your current system. Template customization is available when agreed Sentinel resources are the right starting point. The proposal identifies any materials involved.
How long does an ISO 9001 consulting project take?
Timing depends on the current state of your system, the agreed scope, access to records, and your team’s ability to implement changes. Share your target date when you inquire. A schedule is agreed after the work and responsibilities are defined; there is no standard guaranteed certification timeline.
Does Sentinel perform the certification audit?
No. Sentinel supports QMS implementation and certification readiness. The certification audit and decision belong to an independent certification body. Sentinel is not ISO, a registrar, or a certification body and does not issue or guarantee certification.
